Amish  also belongs to Chetan Bhagats likes club. He is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta. He worked in the financial sector of many noted companies like Standard Chartered, DBS Bank and IDBI Federal Life Insurance. It is after working for 14 years, he realized that writing is his real calling and now he it a full time writer.

But Amish has fully used his 14 years of experience. He adopted robust strategies to promote his book. Like giving away the free copies of first chapter of Immortals of Meluha at bookstore, launching the trailer of the series on you tube and multiplexes, pushing the book on facebook and other social networking sites. An original soundtrack has been made for a book series.

And many others strategies were adopted which gave the book enough headstart required for coming in the notice. The rest of the work was done by the excellent writing of Amish.
