While The Rise of Kali book 2 in the series of Ajaya is due to release in 2014, Anand has recently revealed in an interview that after the completion of Rise of Kali he will be working on another anti-hero Amatya who was the villain in the famous Sanskrit historical play Mudrarakshasa by Visakhadatta.

In Mudrarakshasa, Chanakya was the hero. So Anand Neelakantan plans to turn the history of India upside down where Amatya is the hero who fights for his motherland from invaders like Alexander and upstarts like Chandragupta Maurya and Chanakya.

It is expected to be thriller and fast paced. There is also another work done on Chanakya. It is Chanakya’s Chant by Ashwin Sanghi.

While Anand Neelakantan’s latest book Ajaya: Roll Of The Dice is the bestseller and is created quite a rage among the readers. It is attracting a lot of positive reviews and accolades from all the corners.
