Social Media is right now a very hot concept in both fiction and non-fiction books. Recently, in The Big Connect by Shaili Chopra has analyses the place of social media in the today’s politics and  role of the same in the recently concluded election in India. Now in fiction, Piyush Jha has picked up social media as the backdrop for his new novel in the Mumbaistan series called Anti-Social Network: An Inspecor Virkar Crime Thriller. It is third novel in the series. First two were 3 Explosives and Compass Box Killer.

The plot is about the serial killing of students in Mumbai which is found to be linked to a bunch of tech savvy guys who are involved in blackmail and sextortion. Now it is up to Inspector Virkar to catch hold them. Incidentally, Virkar is not comfortable with computers. So it will be interesting to see how he solve his case where criminals are more always one step ahead of him.

Like the first two novels in the series it is also expected to be high on suspense and thrillingly fast paced. The review of the book is coming soon.
