The nation remembered Iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on the occasion of his birthday 31st October. The country is obliged to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel for its political unity after the independence.

To honor the Iron Man of India, 182 m tall Statue of Unity of monument of Vallabhbhai Patel that will be created directly facing the Narmada Dam, 3.2 km away on the river island called Sadhu Bet of Narmada river, near Bharuch in Gujarat state of India. Narendra Modi has committed itself for it.
