After Sanjaya Baru’s The Accidental Prime Minister, another bomb is dropped on Congress Party and UPA government by former Coal Secretary PC Parakh. He has recently launched his book Crusader or Conspirator? Coalgate And Other Truth which has further added fuel to the fire.

The author PC Parakh was a civil servant and senior executives of public service undertakings and a former coal secretary to coal ministry with Mamata Banerjee, Shibu Soren and Dr. Manmohan Singh, who was also the Prime Minister. Parakh has clearly stated how these ministers has misused their authority as a cabinet ministers.

The former Coal Secretary has been booked by CBI in Coal Scam. This instigated the author and he writes in his book, “Prime Minister has taken the final decision. If I’m the part of the conspiracy, he has to be the part of the conspiracy too.”

Like Sanjaya Baru, PC Parakh has also written that though Manmohan Singh headed the government, he had no control over decision-making. He also mentioned that the PM has little political authority and his ministers has loyalty towards Sonia Gandhi. Both the book’s author were crystal clear about the fact that Manmohan Singh was a mere puppet in the hands of Sonia Gandhi.
