Come October, 2014 more shocking revelation are on the way in the book Not just an Accountant by Vinod Rai. A few days ago even I was unaware about who is Vinod Rai. A little goggling enlighten me that he was a former CAG who was auditing Coalgate and Commonwealth Games scams. It is expected that Vinod Rai will reveal many unpleasant information in his upcoming book which will further embarrass the UPA government.
The book Not Just An Accountant is expected to release by September, 2014 but seems already started giving the restless nights to Congress. Sonia Gandhi and Congress party were licking their wounds from the strike of One Life Is Not Enough by Natwar Singh but the storm doesn’t seems to be tiding. Vinod Rai blows jab not only on Manmohan Singh but also on the UPA government as well.
Rai has estimated the national loss of Rs. 1.76 lakh crore in the 2G spectrum allocation and Rs.1.86 lakh crore in Coal Block allocations to the country was also forced to drop some named from his CAG report. The former Coal Secretary PC Parakh has already vehemently criticized the UPA government in his book Conspirator or Crusader. Now the book Not Just An Accountant will further the nail the UPA Government.
The title of the book was inspired from a Supreme Court observation in a judgement in a PIL that “the CAG is not just a munim (account).”
The book is expected to release by mid September, 2014
