In the Jaipur Literature Festival 2014, Amish informed to begin writing first book of the new series. He is yet to entitled the book but it will be a mythological genre book as Amish himself claims that it is his favorite genre. It could be Mahabharata as he hinted in the last book Oath Of Vayuputras of Shiva Trilogy.

But now, exactly one year later, in the same Jaipur Literature Festival 2015, Amish Tripathi updates about his latest work. So what it is.

After depicting the journey of Shiva to Lord Shiva or Neelkantha in The Shiva Trilogy Series, Amish is all set ready to decode Lord Ram’s journey to become god in his latest series Ram Chandra series. Scion of Ikshavaku is the first book in the series is expected to release by 22nd June, 2015.

Now that it is the great news and the wait is also not so long. I along with many other fans of Amish are anxiously waiting to read his version of Ramayana.

In the JLF 2015, he has also promised that in some point of time he will also write a mega series on Mahabharata as well.
