Former Union Minster of India, Salman Khurshid who was always in news during election 2014 for his snide comments on BJP especially on Narendra Modi, is back in limelight. This time for his up coming book At Home in India: The Muslim Saga.

At Home in India is about collection of facts and accounts which shows that Muslim are at ease in India and that this community has become a integral part of India. He ha sought out examples right from 19th century to this date about  various contribution by Indian Muslims. The milestone which they achieved became the proud moments for India as a whole.

Salman Khursihd in his book also pin points out the various hypersensitive issues related to Muslims such as terrorism, communal riots, a Uniform Civil Code, present-day Muslim leadership (or lack of) and the place of women in Islam, with a focus on the Shah Bano case.

And like a typical Congressman, Salman Khurshid will also be analysing of what the future could hold after the recent victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. BJP on the other hand is looking upon it  as an appeasing gimmick by Salman Khurshid to win Muslim supporters.

Dr. Subramanian Swamy in his Facebook post writes Salman Khurshid has written a book called “At Home In India: A restatement of Indian Muslims” in which he writes that what Sikhs (and Hindus) suffered during 1984 riots was only due to their SINS committed against Muslims during 1947 partition.

The book is expected to release by November 2014. However release date and jacket of the book is yet to be confirmed and released respectively.
