Revolution 2020 is yet another bollywood movie type novel by Chetan Bhagat. No doubt he knows the nerves of Bollywood plots thats why his novels adapted movies turns out to be blockbusters. Soon we could also see Rovolution 2020 movie.

Revolution 2020 is mainly story of a three characters Gopal, Aarti and Raghav but the story is told from Gopal’s perspective so we get to see rest of character from his points of view.

All the characters in the novel including the three main characters are very realistic. Readers could easily identify with the character. In fact the Gopal as a struggling student trying to get into IIT could be story of thousands of aspiring student who want to be IITian. But fails to clear the entrant exams.

There is always a revolutionary character in Chetan Bhagat’s novel who sees things differently. It is through this character author brings out his own opinion. In Revolution 2020, that character is Raghav. Through Raghav, Chetan expresses his wrath about the corrupt political system and need to bring the revolution for better India. I just love reading his books just for this reason.

The cover of the Revolution 2020 is also impressive. Aarti is in love with Raghav but also doesn’t let Gopal go who is also in love with Aarti. Revolution 2020 is more about love than ambition and corruption.

Like Chetan’s other books, Revolution 2020 apart from English has been translated into many other regional languages like Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi and Telugu.
